Kyocera reveals three new TASKalfa multi-functional products to enhance scan efficiency and security in the workplace

02.01.2020

Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands – 2 January 2020: Kyocera Document Solutions Europe, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, has announced the launch of three new products within their respected TASKalfa range. The latest products, the TASKalfa 358ci, TASKalfa 408ci and TASKalfa 508ci, following the launch of the TASKalfa 352ci device in December as the organisation continues to innovate on how to provide companies with new tools in the hunt for productivity.

The TASKalfa 358ci and TASKalfa 408ci represent an upgrade on the existing TASKalfa 356ci and TASKalfa 406ci models, whilst the TASKalfa 508ci brings a new player into the game with the ideal solution for the higher printing segment with speeds of up to 50 prints per minute.

These MFPs do far more than just print though, bringing state of the art scanning technology. A brand-new document processor means that up to 270 images can be scanned per minute, with a staple detection unit and double feed detection unit giving you the edge and making life that much easier when scanning stacks of paperwork and documentation.

“These devices represent Kyocera’s latest innovation, proving how the TASKalfa range continues to remain a step ahead of the game in the A4 MFP market,” explained Zelda Emmerick, Expert Product Specialist at Kyocera Document Solutions Europe.

“Medium to large sized companies require solutions which can handle their print and scan needs whilst also providing top class security using the very latest technology to protect their data. These devices do just that, providing all of the benefits of A3 devices but for A4 needs,” added Emmerick.

As Emmerick states, security is a priority for all businesses, particularly in the public, finance and legal sectors. Secure Boot technology ensures that only authorised firmware is deployed whilst the Trusted Platform Module guarantees encryption for image data and certificates, meaning that scanning is not only efficient, but also safe.

The devices are also built around Kyocera’s intent focus on creating a user-friendly experience. The development of a new user interface emulates tablet functionality to allow professionals to manage their print jobs with simple drag and drop technology.

Even when IT experts or print fleet managers are not in the office, usability is still enhanced. Remote panel support enables firms to have troubleshooting checks and routine processes carried out externally thanks to the implementation of KYOCERA Fleet Services. That allows organisations to not have to worry about arranging visits from technicians and reduces downtime, allowing for almost instant checks to resolve basic problems and avoiding unnecessary delays.

As the company’s philosophy, established by founder Dr. Kazuo Inamori, suggests, these products enable firms to project their abilities into the future. Following the belief that “it is only by challenging what we are not now capable of achieving that we can attain a higher goal,” these TASKalfa products enable companies to boost efficiency with unrivalled print and scan abilities.
