    What does the Scan Extension Kit have to offer?

    The Scan Extension Kit (A) is an optional add-on to our TASKalfa A3 MFP that scans ordinary documents and converts them to searchable, editable PDFs using embedded Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
    Make your documents searchable:
    Convert your documents to searchable PDFs and eliminate having to retype large documents.
    Keyword Search:
    With a single tap you can convert scanned documents into readable content, allowing you to search for individual words.
    OCR Readability:
    The ability to search for text in boxes and forms or that has been italicised or underlined.
